The
purpose of the moisturizing cream with chamomile, aloe and green tea is
to moisturize, soften and protect the skin from environmental damage caused
by extreme exposure to sun, water, soil, chemicals, dry winds and cold
weather. The moisturizing cream is a very rich cream that keeps the skin
silky soft no matter what it is exposed to, and it can easily double as
a day cream, a night cream and a very luxurious hand cream!
As a day cream, the moisturizing cream works great as a makeup primer
where it protects the skin from the elements by creating an emollient
barrier that seals in the natural moisture. It also works well as a nurturing,
healing night cream, and you'll notice that a little bit goes a very long
way! It
only takes a very small amount of the moisturizing cream to cover your
hands or your face, and because the cream is so rich, you don't have to
reapply it very often. Once or twice a day is usually sufficient.
To make the formula, I started out with skin softening cocoa butter, shea butter and beeswax. Next I added organic coconut oil, 100% pure soybean oil and organic aloe vera gel which heals and soothes the skin. I also used chamomile extract for ultimate soothing and healing and added hyaluronic acid, glycerin, honey, lecithin, yogurt and green tea to moisturize and prevent premature aging. To scent the moisturizing cream, I added subtle scents of geranium, grapefruit and lemongrass to uplift your spirit.
The moisturizing cream is a truly luxurious hands and face cream that your skin will love! After a few minutes, it completely penetrates the skin and leaves no oily feel!
Directions: Use a small amount of moisturizing cream whenever your skin feels dry. Repeat as needed.
Personal notes: I use the moisturizing cream on my hands and elbows, as well as on my cheeks, especially in cold weather. I also love to use the moisturizing cream as a night cream. It can be layered on top of a moisturizer, or on top of the face oil, depending on what you feel that your skin needs at that moment. Oh, and I forgot to mention that it works great for cracked skin, blisters and small sores as well. The moisturizing cream with chamomile seems to speed up the healing by keeping the skin extra soft and flexible.
