Natural Facial Scrub with Oatmeal, Sugar & Rose Petals
This
multi purpose natural facial scrub works both as a mask and a gentle exfoliator.
Oat flour soothes the skin, and honey moisturizes and heals. White sugar,
goat milk and yogurt contain natural alpha hydroxy acids which balance
the skin's pH, dissolve dead skin cells gently and restore a youthful
glow (lactic acid from goat milk and yogurt, and glycolic acid from sugar).
Lose skin cells are removed with gentle exfoliants that don't damage the
healthy skin cells (finely granulated white sugar, crushed rose petals
and corn meal), and sebum production is balanced with orange peel, salt
and lemongrass essential oil. The natural facial scrub is recommended
for all skin types, except extra sensitive skin and acne prone skin. Used
daily, the natural facial scrub greatly improves skin texture.
Directions:
Mix about a teaspoon of natural facial scrub into a paste with water.
If the skin is dry or extremely dry, add a few drops of milk or Facial
Moisturizing Oil into the mix as well. Apply the natural facial scrub
and massage lightly, leave on for a minute or two, then rinse off with
warm water. Follow exfoliation with cleanser, toner or moisturizer.
Personal
notes: It wasn't until I started using this natural facial scrub,
that I started getting compliments about my skin. One of the problems
of aging is that the cell turnover happens slower and slower the older
we get, and the result is that the skin becomes thinner and duller. By
using a gentle exfoliant, such as the natural facial scrub, not only does
the "glow" come back, but the skin will start producing more
cells, too, so that the "thinning" can be reversed. Personally,
I love the way this natural facial scrub makes my skin look, and it smells
great, too. I prefer using it in the morning instead of the cleanser.
