The purpose of this tinted facial moisturizer is to even out the skin tone with very sheer coverage, while leaving your skin with a subtle glow.

My philosophy about makeup is that it is supposed to enhance your natural beauty, not cover it up. Covering up your face with a tinted facial moisturizer or foundation that is thick enough to make you look like you are wearing a mask, doesn't make you look any younger, nor more beautiful. It just makes you look like you are wearing a mask!

Therefore, this tinted facial moisturizer was made as a natural looking alternative to heavy foundations. It gives your face a fresh and natural look, without making it look like you are wearing any makeup at all. Remember, you are not supposed to see the makeup itself - only the all over effect, so let this be your little secret...

After trying the tinted facial moisturizer on people with many different skin tones, I settled on 2 shades that I believe will match most light to medium skin tones. The light tinted facial moisturizer is for pale, fair and light skin, and the medium is for tan or medium colored skin. However, if you are in doubt which shade of the tinted facial moisturizer that will match your skin, I recommend buying a sample first.

Directions:
Apply the tinted facial moisturizer after cleansing and toning. If the skin is dry or mature, it is best to apply a moisturizer first, and then the tinted facial moisturizer on top.

Ingredients:
macadamia oil, grapeseed, apricot kernel, calendula, olive squalane, plant based emulsifiers, soybean lecithin, unrefined cocoa butter, shea butter, iron oxides, titanium dioxide, mica, distilled water, xanthan gum, rose water, green tea, yogurt, honey, geogard ultra (natural preservative), vegetable glycerin, vitamin E, ylang ylang, orange essential oil and modified corn starch

Does it hide all my flaws and blemishes -no, but that wasn't what I was going after anyway. This works well for me because I have true combination skin and after I wash my face it adds enough hydration to not leave dry spots but not so much that I end up greasy. My face feels like it can still breathe using this product, which I can't say for most liquid foundation/tinted covers. It also appears to be healing some of my blemishes since this is the only item in my routine I have changed. I like to add a light layer of powder (also from a company with a great Skin Deep rating) to keep my face matte, though if you wanted more of a "glow" you could skip the powder. I will be back for more of this.
